About me…
Hi, I am the founder of APB Sport Psychology. I am currently a Sport & Exercise psychologist in training.
I have had over 4 years experience working as a Sport Psychologist, working with several teams such as WBA women’s, Oxford United female academy & Women’s team, Northampton Town U18s and Old Northamptonians Rugby Club.
I have a wealth of experience supporting athletes in different sports from RC car racing to football, cricket and rugby, covering a variety of different topics to aid their performance.
My background as a former football player at academy level and academy coach has familiarised me with the experiences of rejection and failure and the effect they have on confidence and enjoyment when pursuing high performance. Previous to becoming a sport psychologist I was a primary & secondary PE teacher and football coach at elite youth level for 20 years. These experiences have supported me in how I tailor my work with athletes of different ages, for them to get the best out of our work together.
