About me…
Hi, I am the founder of APB Sport Psychology. I am currently a Sport & Exercise psychologist in training with CASES.
I have had over 4 years experience working as a Sport Psychologist, working with several teams such as WBA women’s, Oxford United female academy & Women’s team, Northampton Town U18s and Old Northamptonians Rugby Club. Alongside this I have worked with individuals across a multitude of sports such as boxing, powerlifting, badminton, darts and RC driving. Where I have helped athletes and coaches to bring psychology in to their performance. through one-to-one support, group workshops, competition preparation or embedding psychological elements within training.
I have a wealth of experience supporting individuals in a variety of sports and exercise, covering a variety of different topics to aid their performance.
My background as a former football player at academy level and academy coach has familiarised me with the experiences of rejection and failure and the effect this has on confidence and enjoyment when pursuing high performance. I have worked with elite level to grassroots athletes and can support you at any level you perform at. Prior to becoming a sport psychologist I was a primary & secondary PE teacher and football coach at elite youth level for 20 years. These experiences have supported me in how I tailor my work with athletes of different ages, for them to get the best out of our work together.
I am Supervised by Dr. Robert Morris and a member of the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise (CASES). I have public liability insurance and DBS checked for my psychological work.
